Hondlik, Edward R. Nov. 4, 1930 ~ March 1, 2018 Age 87 Of White Bear Lake Passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family. Preceded in death by parents Edward and Stephane. Survived by his wife, love of his life for 63 years, JoAnn (nee Barth); children Liz Haar (Mike), Audrey Fretschel & Russ (Beth); 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and sister Shirley Ridgway. Machinist, tool and die maker for more than 40 years retiring from 3M in St Paul after a 24 year career. He was a Mason for 50 years with the Garnett Lodge in White Bear Lake, served in the Army and is a Veteran of the Korean Conflict, graduate of Class of 49 from St Paul Central High School Frequent volunteer in the community and a blood donor who’s donated 16 gallons of blood in his lifetime Service Thursday, March 8th at 11:00 am at ST. STEPHEN LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1965 East County Road E, White Bear Lake with visitation one hour before the service. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice in his name, or make a Memorial to the Masonic Cancer Center or the Lee and Rose Warner Nature Center.
